The Flag Off Events
The Flag Off events was hosted by His Excellency Hon. Martin Babale, Deputy Governor of Adamawa State at his official residence in Dougirei, Jimeta-Yola.
His 5 months old grand daughter, Kimberly Benjamin, was the first to be vaccinated by her grand father, Hon. Martin Babale, symbolising the commencement of the State-wide immunisation exercise.
The campaign is expected to cover 989,000 under-5 children in Adamawa State within 7 days. Adamawa State Government with the support of WHO, UNICEF, EU, GAVI and other partners supported the implementation technically and financially. Improved healthcare delivery is a priority of the APC led Government of Nigeria and also topmost on the Bindow for Social Change Agenda in Adamawa State.
