Adamawa State Taskforce on Immunisation

The Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Hon. Martin Nasir Babale, inaugurates the State Taskforce on Immunisation on Wednesday 24th February 2016 at the Presidential Lodge of the Adamawa State Government House in Yola.

The Deputy Governor, who is the Chairman of the State Taskforce on Immunisation inaugurated the committee on behalf of His Excellency, Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla (Bindow), the Executive Governor of Adamawa State. He commended the efforts of all stakeholders in achieving polio free Adamawa State since the last case in 2009 and encourage the scaling up of the gains from the Polio Eradication Initiative to the other vaccine preventable illnesses through their routine immunisation programmes.
