NSHIP DLI 2015 Verification Mission to Adamawa State 14th to 19th March 2016

The NSHIP mission consisting of representatives of NPHCDA, World Bank, Federal Ministry of Finance and the Result Based Financing Technical Assistance (RBF-TA), led by Fatima Mustapha of the World Bank, arrived Yola on Sunday 13th March 2016 on a one-week assessment visit of the achievement of the agreed Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) for the year 2015.

DLI is a set of indicator milestones to be achieved and rewarded by NSHIP to State and Local Governments in each year. These indicators are mainly the driving processes required to achieve the ultimate result for the entire project. These driving processes by all stakeholders are restructured into the DLIs, and then incentivised to improve governance and participation, thereby enhancing the achievement of the targeted results for each year.

Day 1, Monday 14th March

The mission met at the Board Room of the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ADSPHCDA) and reviewed the project performance, the 2015 DLI reports, the Counter-verification report and discussed on operational and institutional challenges faced during the

project implementation.

Girei, Guyuk, Demsa and Mayo Belwa Local Government Areas are chosen randomly for the field visits.

Day 2, Tuesday 15th March

The mission visited Girei and Guyuk Local Government Area where they verified the DLIs as planned.
