IMG-20160605-WA0005The Adamawa State Ministry of Health signed-in a memorandum of understanding with cumbamed associates limited to provide consultancy services for the proposed ADAMAWA STATE HEALTH DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT: Title Health for life “ Transforming health care -working towards a healthy community”
Signing-in the MOU on behalf of His Excellency Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla, the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Health Dr. Fatima Atiku Abubakar said the proposed health summit will primarily Focus On Four Priority Goals
1) To Highlighting the progress accomplished in the sector
2) To provide a vision for future by setting clear, short and long-term milestones, initiate reforms and put policies in place to move the sector forward
3) To serve as an opportunity to stimulate significant media and public exposure for health sector and Adamawa State Strategic Health Development Plan 2010-2015,
4) To bring out some of the facts from the State Strategic Health Development Plan and it’s implications for health care delivery in the state with a view of developing solutions approach that will address some of the challenges facing the sector

IMG-20160605-WA0008The lead consultant Dr. Dale Ogunbayo said the Consulting firm will organize and ensure the smooth running of the Summit as scheduled in October 2016.
The overall objectives of the Summit is brainstormed and chart way forward towards the improvement of health service delivery in the State, stimulate discussions on improving health financing options, strengthen the health systems functions and initiate new partnerships. All stakeholders in health ranging from civil society organisations, Government, private sector, media and other development partners are expected to attend the three day summit.
