Delivering the items on behalf of society, the state coordinator, Dr. Joel Yohana said “ inline with the commitment of the Society for obstetrician and gynaecologist of Nigeria, we propose to contribute our quarter to Idps camps and to some selected PHC centres nation wide”.
Dr. Joel added apart from the equipments donated, the society will render voluntary services in all the clinics identified by bringing experts management from tertiary institutions to primary health care level. The experts management will involve training of PHC technical staffs on how to manage complicated issues, established standard referral system between the centres and the tertiary institutions in order to reduce morbidity and mortality rates.
The PHC centres identified to benefit from the donation and enjoy the voluntary services are:
1. Malkohi PHC centre and IPDs camp clinic ( Dr. Boluriu Elalaiye)
2. Damare PHC centre and NYSC camp clinic (Dr. Joel Yohana )
3. Shagari PHC centre (Dr. Umaru Inuwa )
Receiving the items, the Executive Chairman Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency Dr. Abdullahi Dauda Belel, ably represented by permanent board member Dr. Martins Bimba, thanked the society for thinking it right to donates the items and called on other organisations and wealthy individuals to emulate the gesture. The items donated includes

4. Pinnard stethoscopes and infrared thermometer
5. Sterilizer etc
