EU-UNICEF Project Steering Committee Meeting
EU-UNICEF Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting in support to Scale up Maternal Newborn and Child Health Outcomes in Adamawa and Kebbi States is scheduled to hold in Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency on 12th to 13th July, 2016. Discussions ranging from the Update from previous meeting, Progress of the Programme implementation in the States (Kebbi and Adamawa), 2016 Annual Workplan, Next step etc will be done.
Delegation from EU-UNICEF, National Planning Commission, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Federal Ministry of Health, Kebbi State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency are all expected to participate.
The Executive Chairman ADSPHCDA, Dr. Abdullahi D. Belel during the Four-hour Pre-PSC meeting held on 11th July, 2016 stated that State Stakeholders (The Honourable Commission, State Ministry of Health, Honourable Commissioner State Ministry for Local Government Affairs, LGA PHCA representatives and other personnels) will be in attendance to ensure appropriate representation.
It was also decided that the underlisted Health facilities in the State will be visited to enable the Steering Committee see first hand the level of impact, effects, achievements, progress and challenges of the Project in the State.

- Major Aminu Health Centre (Yola North LGA)
- Model Clinic, Girei B (Girei LGA)
- NYSC IDP Camp Clinic (Girei LGA)
- Fufore IDP Camp Clinic (Fufore LGA)
During the PSC field visit, the Steering Committee will be open to comments and new ideas. Issues like Types of Services provided by each Health Centre, disbursement of materials etc will be looked into.
