Flag Off 5th Round of Supplementary Immunization Plus Days (SIPDs) In Girei Adamawa State

The immunization campaign was flagged off by the His excellency the Deputy governor of Adamawa State Engr. Martins Nasir Babale who is equally the Chairman Task force committee on immunization, the ceremony was well attended by the host community, Viniklang among other community in Girei has suffered influx of IDPs as result of insurgency which made women and children turned out in large number. The executive chairman Adamawa state primary health care development agency Dr. Abdullahi  Belel in his opening remark commended the open door policy of His Excellency Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow  executive Governor Adamawa state which has allow the actualization of the Health care development  in the state. He further stressed that despite all effort to bring polio to an end in Nigeria, Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ADSPHCDA) remains a roll model compared to other state in Nigeria in terms quantity and quality of healthcare service development.

The Deputy Governor Engr. Martins Nasir Babale stressed the readiness of the government to ensure a healthy Adamawa by providing effective and efficient health system through collaboration with development partners and to ensure effective implementation of Primary Health care policy to serve the people at the grassroots’.

Finally, the permanent secretary Ministry of health Dr.Garba Ahmed who represented the Hon. Commissioner of Health Dr.Fatima Atiku Abubakar in his remark commended the pragmatic leadership style of Dr. Abdullahi Belel for setting the PHCDA under on Roof which has remain a point of reference to other state of federation. Garba Ahmed said  ,this approach by the SPHCDA  has  no doubt brought the transformation we see in PHC in the respective communities in the state.
