STUDY TOUR VISIT TO ADAMAWA STATE PRIMARY HEALTHCARE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (ADSPHCDA) BY NIGER STATE PRIMARY HEALTHCARE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (NSPHCDA) 14th -8-17.
Adamawa state primary Health Care Development Agency under the leadership of its executive chairman Dr. Abdullahi Dauda Belel is one among the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (SPHCDA) that has made an outstanding performance in the implementation of quantitative and qualitative healthcare service delivery in Adamawa State and the country at large.
This remarkable achievement and impact by the Agency in improving the quality of care remains a site of attraction and a role model to the stakeholders, development partners, government and non-governmental organization.
In view of this developmental stride, Niger State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NSPHCDA) found it important to see and learn from the mystery behind the success of PHC system in the state. Thereby paid a study tour visit to the Adamawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency.
The team was received by the secretary to the Adamawa State Government Dr Umar Bindir, Commissioner of health Dr. Fatima Atiku Abubakar, Executive Chairman Adamawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency Dr. Abdullahi Dauda Belel in company of the board members, Management officers and Staff at the conference hall of the agency.
The SSG Umar Bindir in his speech made clear to the team the vision of the government towards healthcare development in the state. Similarly commended Dr.Abdullahi Belel for making the state proud through its excellent performance nationally, he further urged the Niger state team to share experiences and view the state counter part for better performance.
The Niger state team of the SPHCDA visited PHC facilities in different LGA access the performance and transformation through intervention of development partners especially the Nigerian State Health Investment Project NSHIP-PBF.
