The commander 23 brigade Brig.Gen Bello Abdullahi Muhammad and the Executive chairman Adamawa state Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ADSPHCDA) Dr. Abdullahi Dauda Belel arrived the Fufore IDP camp in the early hour of The New-year 2018.The entourage were received by crowed of over one thousand IDPS.
General Bello in his speech declared that, it is necessary for the Nigerian army to carry out this exercise as the IDPS are also Part of the society but they still need support considering the fact that they are displaced from their homes.
Hence, this experience prompted the need by the Nigerian army to offer free medical healthcare service outreach and provision of clothing material in celebration for the 2018 New Year in line with the vision of the chief of army staff general Buratai. The Army medical health team in addition, carried out health talk in an effort to build the capacity of the IDPS to attain good hygiene for a quality healthcare need and services.
In the same vein, Dr. Abdullahi Dauda Belel in his remark commended the initiative and effort of the Nigerian Army for collaborating with the State government through the State primary healthcare development agency to help strengthen the quality of healthcare services in the state. The fact remains that provision of quality healthcare for all demand responsibility and commitment by relevant stakeholders to achieve. Today, what the army has showcased is worthy of emulation. Dr. Belel thanked the Chief of Army staffs for the usual support in creating an enabling environment.
