ADSPHCDA In Collaboration With EU-UNICEF Capacity Building On Nutrition Intervention In Adamawa State.

The meeting was held at the Nurses House conference hall, The training witnessed the participation of the State and Local Government Nutrition officers and their executives secretary’s, during the workshop presentation were made on nutrition intervention from January to November 2018 in Shelleng, Mayo Belwa, Numan and Mubi South with the view to evaluate the level of impact and achievement in respective Local Government Areas. Hence the need to improve on present level of success achieved.   

The State Nutrition Officer Hauwa Zoaka educated the participants on the critical nature of data entry and record keeping also documentation, in view of this demonstrated to the participants calculation method of nutrition indicator on care rate, Defaulter and death.

The EU –UNICEF lead consultant Adamawa state Dr. Sa‘adatu Ringim in her remark urged the participant to put in more effort in reducing Mal nutrition level in the state. She stressed that all the nutrition officers in the state should ensure data and nutrition indicators are properly recorded and implemented.

The meeting ended with update presentation on nutrition interventions by ICRC, IRC, CHARITAS and IFRC.
