The Deputy Governor Of Adamawa State Engr. Martins Nasir Babale Commissioned New Primary Healthcare Facilities In Toungo LGA

  The event was held at the local government secretariat under the auspices of the Primary Healthcare Authority Toungo lead by Haj Aisha T. Raji Executive Secretary Toungo PHCA.

Haj. Aisha in her welcome address commended the support by the Nigerian State Health Investment Project ((NSHIP), the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State Engr Martins Nasir Babale for his commitment in giving out his house to be converted to health center in order to serve health need of his community and other stakeholders, according her the gesture will go a long way in reducing maternal mortality rate in the community. She Further call on other stakeholders to follow suit, considering the fact that the government can’t do everything.

The Hon. Commissioner for Health Dr. Fatima Atiku Abubakar called on the health workers and the community to take advantage in using and utilizing the support and interventions put in place by critical stakeholders. She emphasized that women should come to the Clinics for ANC and other health need as government have put basic facilities in place for quality health care service delivery.

Dr. Abdullahi Dauda Belel in his remark while receiving an award of excellent leadership services to the people of Adamawa state by the District head of Toungo Alh. Jaimin Mohammed Gabdo, Dr. Belel commended the performance of the Executive secretary and her team for mobilizing the community for effective engagement in the sustenance of healthcare service delivery. According to him the victory in achieving improvement in quality health service is victory for all. Finally, commended Senator Muhamadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow giving the Agency and health sector in Adamawa state free hand to operate in the state.

The deputy governor of Adamawa State Engr. Martins Babale in his speech applauded the effort of the executive secretary of Toungo for her effort and commitment to serve her community and government of Adamawa state. He stressed that time has come for people to support every development al projects of government and take ownership. Engr. Babale clearly stated that the government of Adamawa state is ever ready to ensure healthier people in the state. In addition, thanked Dr. Belel for the achievement in the health sector and for making the state proud globally. The deputy governor and his entourage commissioned project executed by the authority.

However, the significance quality healthcare service delivery to economic growth and development of every nation cannot be over emphasized, hence the need for community engagement to attain sustainability.
