Journalist against Polio (JAP) and for Child survival is a body of journalist formed to help strengthen eradication of polio for child survival in Adamawa State. The meeting which was held at city Green hotel witnessed the presence of Media chief executives and journalists from different media stations and organization in the state.
The executive Chairman Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ADSPHCDA) Dr. Batulu Isa Muhammad in her welcome address applauded the zeal and passion exhibited by the media professional to complimenting the effort of the agency towards improving the quality of healthcare service delivery in the state.
Dr. Batulu call on the media professional to live up to expectation by supporting health care development through sensitization and awareness creation as a social corporate responsibility. She stressed that the health institution can only gain acceptance and adequate health coverage through the media. Hence the need to engage the media professional as critical stakeholders to attain said result.
The Acting Chairman NUJ Mr. Umar Dankano in his remark made clear the readiness of the media team and professionals to support every developmental stride of the Primary healthcare Development Agency, considering the fact that the significance of health to the development of every nation cannot be over emphasized.
More so , the acting Chairman NUJ Congratulated The Executive Chairman ADSPHCDA Dr.Batulu Isa Muhammad for the new well deserved appointment to lead the institution to a greater height.
