The Nigerian State Health Investment Project Adamawa(NSHIP-AD) And The Fresh Air Pro-Life Empowerment Foundation, Support The Provision Of Quality Of Healthcare Service Delivery In Adamawa State.

Nigeria State Health Investment Project NSHIP, Adamawa since its establishment in 2011 have done great impact in the improvement of quality and quantity of healthcare service delivery in over four hundred and five (405) primary Health Care facilities in the state. NSHIP in an effort to sustain the gains of the Project in collaboration with the Fresh Air Pro-Life Empowerment Foundation, have presented a mobile clinic ambulance each to 7 local government areas that were affected by the Boko Haram insurgency.

The presentation was carried out on 19th-May- 2020, through the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency to the Local government Primary Health Care Authorities by the wife of the governor, Hajiya Lami Fintiri.

The benefiting LGAs are Gombi, Hong, Madagali, Maiha, Michika, Mubi North and Mubi South.

According to the first lady, healthcare delivery in the rural area is a major priority of the Fintiri led administration and she will do everything possible to support the promotion of Primary healthcare activities in the state. Hence, the need by critical stakeholders such local government leaderships, facilities to make efficient utilization of the mobile clinic for the purpose intended especially the insurgency affected communities.

NSHIP in Adamawa state coordinated by the Project Coordinator Dr. Paul S. Margwa under the Auspices of the State Primary health Care Development Agency (ADSPHCDA) was commended by Her Excellency, Hajiya Lami Fintiri wife of the executive Governor Adamawa State for their outstanding performance and contribution in reducing Maternal morbidity rate in the state. She added that the impact and achievement by NSHIP and its team in the state is worthy of emulation by other partner and critical partners for successful development of the state under Governor Ahmadu Umaru  Fintiri Led Administration.
