The Executive Chairman Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency Dr. Suliaman Saidu Bashir in his quest to ensure accountability, transparency found it pertinent to intimate stakeholders and the 21 Local Government Chairmen on the need to strengthen quality of care at Primary Health Care Authorities respectively.
According to Dr. Bashir, this strategic approach is critical at the moment considering the Global pandemic challenges bedeviling our people, he stressed that the repositioning of the state PHCC, Human resource development, resource mobilization among other is paramount if the system is to attain sustainability. Hence, the need for all hands to be on deck for the actualization of this vision.
The LGA chairmen representative in a remark commended the approach and step taken by Dr. Saidu Bashir toward intensifying stakeholders’ engagement through advocacy, as this will go a long way in keeping the LGA chairmen and Policy makers in general abreast on the activities of Primary Healthcare in the state. Nevertheless, called for more advocacy, sensitization and awareness creation for effective and efficient implementation of programmes and projects at community level.
