THE 21 LOCAL GOVERNMENT PRIMARY HEALTH CARE AUTHORITIES (PHCA) COMMEMORATE POLIO FREE NIGERIA CERTIFICATION RESPECTIVELY IN ADAMAWA STATE.

In commemoration of Polio free certification of Nigeria, Dr. Sulaiman Saidu Bashir reveals that, despite this progress and the Journey so far, there is still much left to be done. Continued work to reach every last child with the polio vaccine, as well as strengthening surveillance and routine immunization across the region, will be key to keeping wild polio at bay and protecting the gains achieved.

He therefore urged the 21 LGAs to follow suite with the State Primary Health Care Development Agency to Commemorate the victory achieved in Eradicating the Wild Polio in Adamawa State and the country at large.

Dr Sulaiman thereby, congratulated the Foot soldier of the Primary health care system and critical stakeholder in respective Local government areas of Adamawa State for their relentless effort in sensitization, awareness creation and community mobilization for the actualization of this Victory and success.
