This assertion was made during a one-day coordination meeting for the Nutrition Programme officers in the state. The Executive Chairman Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency Dr. Sulaiman Saidu Bashir at the expressed satisfaction by the zeal and passion in creating awareness to influence the health seeking Behaviour of client to have access to available commodity at the various Primary Health Care Facilities in the state.
Hence, urged them to put in more effort to ensure effective monitoring and efficient distribution of available resource to the target individuals. Dr. Bashir thereby, appreciated UNICEF for there tremendous support over the years to date.
The UNICEF team Jackson Martins Nutrition officer and Rajia Sharham Nutrition Specialist commended the outstanding performance by ADSPHCDA in utilization of resources put in place to improve nutrition in the state. The UNICEF Nutrition specialist called on the LGA and state Nutrition Programme officer to ensure efficient utilization of the commodity.
