2021 World Population Day

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has been commended for his efforts focused at policies and investments, targeted at securing the future of the state.
Executive Chairman, Adamawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Suleiman Sa’idu, gave the commendation, at the agency’s office in Yola, during an interactive session with stakeholders to commemorate the 2021 World Population Day.
He commended the Adamawa State Governor, for his relentless efforts and policies which covers divers sectors of the economy including population issues.
World Population Day, which was first celebrated on July 11 1987, seeks to focus attention on the urgency and importance of population issues.
In commemoration of this year’s World Population Day with the theme; Rights and choices are the answers, the Adamawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, held an interactive session with stakeholders on the way forward.

Dr. Maisaratu Aminu Bakari, also called on Health systems, education systems, leaders and policy-makers to be accountable to the people they serve with all efforts, to realize the human right to family planning.
